What to Expect

Trinity Lutheran Church is part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). We have a rich history of worshiping in the tradition of the historic liturgy and Lutheran confessional heritage. We sing traditional hymns, offer the Lord's Supper weekly at the Divine Services, and desire to hear God's word purely taught among us. 

We strive to have the Gospel proclaimed in everything we do in worship. We hope that everyone who comes to worship with us leaves knowing that Christ has justified all through faith alone. Therefore, when you come we hope that you experience this through corporate confession and absolution, the reading of the Scriptures, the preaching of the Gospel, and in the proper administration of the Sacraments.

Before receiving the Lord's Supper we do ask that all guest who visit us please talk with the pastor before hand. If you desire set up a time to talk to our pastor for instruction in the Christian faith and/or to be baptized please do so here.

Trinity Lutheran Church and Preschool is located at 1010 N Webster St. in Taylorville, IL. We are just off of HWY 29 next to Los Rancheros.
